About Mital
Mital M. Patel focuses his boutique law practice on serving entrepreneurs, business owners / executives, and technology startup companies in the growth stages of their business.
His services span the business life cycle, ranging from early stage start-up and incorporation, contract drafting / review, intellectual property protection and counseling, employment and business growth, to mergers, acquisitions and wind down. His background as an internet entrepreneur, computer programmer and web designer allow him to speak his clients’ “language” and provide clear legal counsel that makes business sense.
Mital developed his passion for technology when he discovered the Internet’s potential in the mid 1990s and taught himself to design and develop websites. He furthered his passion for technology when he majored in Computer Science at NC State University, where he graduated with honors. He received his Juris Doctorate as a Charter member of the Elon University School of Law.
When he’s not helping entrepreneurs, he can be found enjoying a Krispy Kreme doughnut (original glazed) or cheering on the NC State Wolfpack.
